Howard Grant, M.D., Internal Medicine and family practice physician has been practicing medicine since 1970. Dr. Grant joined the United States Air Force in 1959 and later graduated from Texas Southern University 1970. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in 1975 and completed residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Michigan in Internal Medicine in 1978. He later set up private practice in Xenia, Ohio, and then moved to Houston, Texas and resumed practicing medicine at Spectrum Emergency Service. After moving to Texas, he became the Industrial Medicine Director of South Texas Nuclear Project in Bay City. Dr. Grant is currently working in private practice at the Binz Clinic located in the Medical Center Area. Dr. Grant is a licensed Pharmacist in several states, as well as a medical practitioner in several states. He is a member of several organizations such as the American Medical Association, National Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine, American Society Emergency Room Physicians, National Medical Fellowship Foundation, NAACP, UNCF, National Alliance of Businessmen, and Youth Motivation Task Force. He is also an active Wall Street investor. The Binz Clinic offers a full spectrum of medical and industrial related medical services including but not limited to employment physicals, x-ray, blood and urine analyses. The clinic also offers physical medicine services including hot packs, diathermy, paraffin dip, ultrasound, tens application. The clinic also offers general evaluative modalities such as spirometry, EKG, and audiometry services. Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and staffed by competent personnel who are efficient and very patient friendly. The clinic has several small business contracts but is attempting to expand in this area with respect to employment physicals |
